Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to share with you a story about my transportation problem I encountered in my recent trip to Hải Phòng, Việt Nam. It was quite an adventure, but not in a good way!
I went to Hải Phòng with my family last month for a vacation. We wanted to explore the city and its surroundings, especially the famous Cát Bà Island. We booked a hotel near the harbor and planned to take a ferry to the island the next day.
The first problem happened when we got on the bus from Hà Nội to Hải Phòng. The bus was old and crowded, and the road was bumpy and winding. I started to feel nauseous and dizzy after half an hour. I tried to look out the window and breathe deeply, but it didn't help much. I felt like throwing up the whole time. It was the worst case of motion sickness I ever had.
The second problem happened when we arrived at the harbor. The ferry we booked was canceled due to a mechanical problem. We had to wait for another ferry, which took more than an hour. We were frustrated and bored, and I was still feeling sick from the bus ride. We finally got on the ferry, hoping to enjoy the scenery and relax.
The third problem happened when we were on the ferry. The sea was rough and choppy, and the ferry was rocking back and forth. I felt even more nauseous than before, and so did my family. We couldn't enjoy anything, we just wanted to get off the boat as soon as possible. We reached Cát Bà Island after 45 minutes, but it felt like forever.
We were so relieved to get off the ferry and set foot on solid ground. We decided to stay on the island for a few days and forget about our transportation problems. We had a great time there, enjoying the nature and the culture.
That's my story of my transportation problem in Hải Phòng. It was a memorable experience, but not in a good way. I learned that I should always check the weather and the condition of the vehicles before traveling. And I also learned that I have a serious motion sickness problem that I need to deal with.
Thanks for reading my blog post, and stay tuned for more stories from my travels!
