 Hi everyone, welcome to my blog! Today I want to share with you my favorite means of transportation: the public bus and car. You might be wondering why I like these two modes of transport so much, so let me tell you more about them.

First, let's talk about the bus. The reason it's one of my favorite means of transportation has to be its value. My monthly pass is only 100k vnd, which is an excellent price for going to school because my house is very far from my school. I also enjoy the bus ride because I can relax, listen to music, read a book, or chat with my friends. Sometimes I even meet new people on the bus and make friends with them.

But there are also downsides of taking the public bus. Because it's government-owned, the staffs are not competent or caring most of the time. They are sometimes quite rude, impatient, and sometimes they scoff at people because they did something that the staffs did not like. For example, one time I saw a staff yell at an old lady because she was too slow to get on the bus. That was very disrespectful and unprofessional.

Another drawback of the bus is its speed. It isn't the best, especially during rush hours. If I ride a motorbike, it will only take me 1/3 of the time needed because with the motorbike I can go with the fastest route which is the highway. On the other hand, the bus's route is hard locked and goes through all sorts of streets and highly crowded traffic areas. Sometimes I get stuck in traffic jams for hours and miss my classes or appointments.

That's why I also like to use a car sometimes. My dad has a 4-seater car and it's quite convenient for my family sometimes. We can go anywhere we want without worrying about the bus schedule or route. We can also carry more stuff in the car than on the bus or motorbike. For example, when we go shopping or travel, we can fit everything in the trunk.

But a car is much more costly than a bus. Not only do we have to pay for gas, maintenance, insurance, and parking fees, but we also have to deal with traffic laws and regulations. My dad is not always available to drive me to school because he has to work early (around 5:45-6:25am). Sometimes he give me a ride to school, but that is if he is really not busy.

So these are my favorite means of transportation: the public bus and car. They both have their pros and cons, but I appreciate them for what they offer me. What about you?
