Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. Today I want to share with you my vacation experience in Cửa Lò, Vietnam. Cửa Lò is a coastal town in the north central region of Vietnam, famous for its long sandy beach and seafood. I went there a few years ago with my auntie's family and it was a memorable trip.
Why did I choose this place? Well, it was not really my choice. My family planned that trip and invited me to join them. They said it was a good place to relax and enjoy the summer. I was not very excited at first, but I agreed to go anyway.
How did we plan? We did not do much planning. We just packed up some clothes, swimming gears and snacks. We did not book any hotel or tour in advance. We wanted to be spontaneous and flexible.
How did we go? We went by private bus. It took us about 6 hours to get there from Hanoi. The bus was comfortable and had air conditioning. We listened to music, played games and chatted along the way.
How was the weather? It was beautifully sunny, but also very hot. I think it was over 40 degrees Celsius every day. I felt like I was going to melt. We had to apply sunscreen every hour and drink a lot of water.
How was the food? It was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and served fast. We ate a lot of seafood, such as shrimp, crab, squid and fish. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.
How were the people? The people were nice and friendly. They did not bother us or try to rip us off. They were helpful and polite. They smiled a lot and greeted us warmly.
How much did it cost? I reckon it was about 1 million Dong for every person, which is about 50 US dollars. That included the bus fare, the hotel fee, the food and the entrance tickets to some attractions. To be honest, it was pretty cheap for a 3-day trip.
What impressed me the most? It was cleaner than I thought. The beach was not very crowded or polluted. The water was clear and blue. The sand was soft and white. The town was also tidy and well-maintained. There was not much trash or noise.
How did I feel? I think it was a good trip overall. I had fun with my family and enjoyed the scenery. I relaxed and refreshed myself. I learned something new about the culture and history of Cửa Lò.
Do I want to recommend? Well, I think there are nicer beaches with more up-to-date facilities and activities in Vietnam. But Cửa Lò was not a bad destination either. It was simple and peaceful. It was suitable for families and budget travelers.
That's all for today's blog post. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more updates.
