Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today I want to share with you my experience of visiting Hai Phong, a coastal city in northern Vietnam. I went there with my mom about two years ago, and it was a memorable trip for both of us.

We took a private bus from Hanoi to Hai Phong, which took about two hours. The bus was comfortable and spacious, but I felt a bit nauseous because I was not used to the high speed and the winding roads. Luckily, I had some ginger candies with me to ease the motion sickness.

We stayed in Hai Phong for only one night and two days, which was not enough to explore everything the city had to offer. However, we managed to enjoy some of the highlights of the place, especially the food. Hai Phong is famous for its seafood and street food, and we tried as many dishes as we could. Some of our favorites were bánh đa cua (rice noodles with crab meat), bún cá (fish noodle soup), nem cua bể (crab spring rolls). Every meal was delicious and satisfying, and we loved the freshness and variety of the ingredients.

The weather in Hai Phong was hot and humid, but not unbearable. We wore light clothes and hats to protect ourselves from the sun. We also drank a lot of water and coconut juice to stay hydrated. The people in Hai Phong were very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with smiles and gave us directions when we needed them. They also did not try to rip us off or hassle us like some other touristy places.

The only thing I did not like about our trip was that it was too short. I wish we had more time to explore more of Hai Phong and Cat Ba Island. There were so many things to see and do there that we could not fit in our schedule. We also did not have any bad experiences during our trip. Everything went smoothly and according to plan.

I felt happy and relaxed after our vacation in Hai Phong. It was a great way to bond with my mom and to experience a different culture and cuisine. I learned a lot about the history and traditions of Hai Phong, and I appreciated its beauty and charm. I would love to go back there someday and discover more of its secrets.

Thank you for reading my blog post about my trip to Hai Phong. I hope you enjoyed it and found it informative. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. I would love to hear from you. See you next time!
